About Me

Hi, my name is Riel, I go by he/him. I'm currently a senior in highschool who will be graduating as a Valedictorian in the Class of 2024. I have decided to create a new blog for myself and others, it will be dedicated to sharing my experiences of high school and new ones as I will attend university this Fall. I will be a Biology major, who’s also pre-med, at the University of Washington. I will additionally add to my art portfolio as that is one of my interests and occasionally write unrelated articles on various topics I’m interested in. This blog is primarily motivated by my desire to share my experience as a first-generation college student and to be able to have something to look back to and realize all the work I’ve done so far has been for something. Navigating life by myself is an entirely intimidating process, so I just want others to know, you’re not alone. :)

I'm also currently learning HTML/CSS so a lot of this is a work in progress!
